• The backstory and context of the project
Qantas put out an open call for a film they could hero on their FB page (this is pre-tiktok). My two friends and I got together and decided to submit an idea...on the last day of the contest. And we won, beating 33 other entries, most being from professional production houses. 

• The problem you were solving
Qantas wanted to talk to expats, to invoke that nostalgia for home (Australia). 
• How you solved it
Simply. We wanted to use subtle cues every Australian would recognize to give them an itch for home in the contrast of snowy NYC...Rockaway just doesn't cut it. 

• Your specific personal contribution
I came up with the idea, wrote the script, and co-directed.
